Exception: Flights to or from the United States may be refunded if:

This fee does not apply if the booking originated in the United States or Canada.
Advantage, Flex, or Business Flex Fare
A full refund is available if the booking is cancelled before departure.
If the passenger upgraded their original booking, only the fare difference portion of the upgrade may be refunded.
Business Fare
A refund is available but 15% of the fare is deducted.
Refund administration fee: €20 per person per one-way flight.
This fee does not apply to bookings originating in the United States or Canada.
Exceptional circumstances
If a passenger experiences a death in their immediate family, Aer Lingus may grant a full refund when a death certificate is provided before travel.
If the passenger has already begun travel (for example, used the outbound flight of a return trip), Aer Lingus may allow the return flight to be changed without charge, up to 45 days later, once documentation is provided.
Immediate family members include:
spouse, children, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and in-laws.
