Can I cancel my Jetstar flight and get a refund?

Whether you can get a refund depends on your fare type and whether you added FareCredit to your booking.

2026 Fare Rules for Refunds:

• Starter, Starter Plus, and Starter Flex: These fares are non-refundable. If you cancel, you will generally lose your fare. However, Starter Flex allows you to cancel for a Jetstar Credit Voucher if done before the deadline.

• Starter Max: This bundle allows for cancellations in exchange for a Jetstar Credit Voucher (minus a cancellation fee), provided you cancel before the flight opens for check-in.

• Business Class: Non-refundable unless you have the Max bundle.

• Business Class with Max Bundle: This is the most flexible option. You can request a full refund (to your original payment method) for a fee, provided the request is made before the end of your scheduled departure day.

FareCredit

If you added FareCredit to any booking (Starter or Business), you have the flexibility to cancel for a credit voucher for any reason, no questions asked, up until the airport check-in opens.

Note on Jetstar Asia (3K): As of 2026, Jetstar Asia (3K) has ceased operations. If you hold a legacy 3K voucher, Jetstar has established a court-approved scheme to convert remaining balances into monetary refunds.
