January 09, 2026Can I cancel my Air Iceland Connect flight and get a refund?
If your plans have changed, your ability to get a refund depends entirely on your fare type. It is critical to note that if you are a "no-show" and do not change or cancel your ticket prior to departure, the booking is considered fully utilized and no refund will be given.
Refund Rules by Fare Type
-
Flexible Fare: Full refund available until departure.
-
Business Card Fare: Full refund available until departure.
-
Classic Fare: Cancellation is possible via the call center, but a 20% cancellation fee applies.
-
Light Fare: These tickets are non-refundable.
To cancel, you must have your booking number ready. For data protection reasons, a name or ID is not enough to process a cancellation.
Can I change my Air Iceland Connect flight?
All changes must be completed before the scheduled departure.
-
Flexible / Business Card: No charge for changes (fare difference may apply for Flexible if the same fare isn't available).
-
Classic Fare: Changes via the call center incur a 20% fee, while online changes are discounted to a 10% fee (plus fare difference).
-
Light Fare: You can upgrade to a more expensive fare. Changes incur a 40% fee via the call center or 20% online (plus fare difference).
To manage your flight, visit “My Booking” on the official website.
Can I change the name on my Air Iceland Connect booking?
If you have a Classic or Light fare and cannot use your flight, you don't have to lose your money. You can transfer your ticket to someone else by paying a name change fee.
-
Name Change Fee: ISK 5.000 (Approximately £30–£35).
For Flexible or Business Card fares, you can simply request a full refund, so a name change is usually unnecessary.
